Recipe: Banana milk breakfast bowl

I love granola. Last winter I was having it almost every morning, while this year I’ve been feeling smoothies. Every once in a while I go back to the granola, and discovered banana milk is a great addition!!

Why use banana milk?   Banana milk is a great way to change things up from the normal & has lots of added benefits! Bananas are high in potassium helping your heart, and fiber helping your digestion. The only downside is banana milk won’t keep in the fridge & needs to be consumed right away.

INGREDIENTS:

1 medium banana
1/2 cup water (more or less depending on the consistency you enjoy)
1-2 medjool dates
Dash of cinnamon
ice, optional

INSTRUCTIONS:

Mix all the ingredients in a blender. Enjoy over granola, berries, or even plain.
